STOMP star blogger Jamie Yeo, 32, and her husband, radio deejay Glenn Ong, 38, have announced that they are getting a divorce. Glenn, who hosts a morning radio programme on Class 95, had announced on-air this morning that he and Jamie "were no longer together". A spokesperson from MediaCorp confirmed that the couple are undergoing divorce proceedings, but declined to comment on the reasons for the split. The couple have no children, but they own a dog, a Jack Russell terrier named Fudgie. Second divorce This will be the second divorce for Glenn, who married Kate Reyes, a deejay from the same station in 2000. They divorced in 2003. Jamie was widely-rumoured to be the cause of the split, which she has denied. According to a report in Wanbao, the couple first started dating in 2001. After Glenn's divorce, he and Jamie were married in Dec 2004 at the New Creation Church. The couple, who are known to embrace publicity, have often been spotted at media events together, openly displaying their affection for each other. A shock The news came as a shock to many. In a conference call with investors yesterday, Activision Blizzard laid to rest all the un-fevered non-speculation about the latest candidate for worst-kept secret in games. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is indeed real and will be out this year.

"We will release Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 from Infinity Ward," said Activision Publishing boss Mike Griffith. "2009 is going to be a very exciting year for the franchise as we expect this year's launch is likely going to be the most anticipated title of all of 2009."

The cat was let out of the bag last week when a staffer at Infinity Ward - the developer of the original Call of Duty, COD 4: Modern Warfare and all the other good ones - absent-mindedly Twittered about working the game.

Prior to that, an advertising conference late last year had lifted the lid on the game (thanks to Twitter indiscretion, again), as well as much of the rest of Activision's 2009 line-up."

According to Blizzard COO Paul Sams, the StarCraft II beta is likely just months away. Two months? Ten months? We hope it's not the latter, especially since we're counting on the first entry, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty to hit sometime this year, if only for sanity's sake.
While Blizzard is cagey on locking down a date, Sams says that we'll get a taste of the next iteration of Battle.net when the StarCraft II beta goes public. Exactly what changes Blizzard will be adding to the online matching service that "support online tournaments, eSports, and enhanced communication between players" haven't been confirmed."

SBS Transit driver attacked by parang—wielding men in JB

SINGAPORE: A Singapore bus driver was attacked by parang—wielding men in a bold robbery attempt in the southern Malaysian city of Johor Bahru on Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred on SBS Transit bus service number 160 which had just left the Kotaraya shopping centre. It was heading for the Woodlands Checkpoint at the border with Singapore.
A caller to MediaCorp’s News hotline said the driver was slashed with a parang when he tried to close the door on the men who were trying to board.

An SBS Transit spokesman told Channel NewsAsia that the injured driver would be transferred from the Johor General Hospital to Singapore soon.

He is believed to be a Singapore permanent resident in his early thirties.

It is not known how many passengers were on board at the time of the incident or if any of them were injured. The assailants fled immediately after the incident.

Service 160 plies between Kotaraya in Johor Bahru and the Jurong East Interchange in Singapore, and the journey usually takes about 70 minutes.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. demo will be out on PSN (US) on the 12th Feb09 n Xbox360 on the 11th Feb, Demo for PC will be out on 26th Feb

"The demo will include jump-in, jump-out co-op for up to four-players, two game difficulties, three planes and two missions.

Operation: Off Certification is a training mode that teaches gamers how to pull different maneuvers. Operation: Glass Hammer takes place in Rio De Janeiro and includes support of the Assistance On mode which allows your plane's computer to calculate interception courses, evade missiles or hit a ground target.

The three planes that will be flyable will be the F-16A Fighting Falcon, SU-35 Super Flanker and the AV-8B Harrier II.

Ubisoft says that the demo will also let players take on tanks, amphibious targets and dog fight in a "stunning panoramic boss scene."
